Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - Rollins Center - ENT 101: Introduction to Entrepreneurship

Position Start Date: September 1, 2026

Required Degree:

Bachelor's degree or higher. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Directly relevant entrepreneurial and professional experience in the subject area of the course is required (minimum of 3-5 years of experience).

Duties/Expectations:

  • Deliver and manage a 3-credit-hour course introducing the history and benefits of entrepreneurship in society.

  • Introduce students to various entrepreneurship pathways, including the benefits and requirements of each.

  • Teach core principles of entrepreneurship, including finding and testing business ideas, understanding customers and markets, and the initial steps of forming a business.

  • Help students identify their own entrepreneurial pathway and build the confidence and skills to begin their entrepreneurial journey.

  • Design and prepare course materials in coordination with the full-time faculty coordinator and deliver classroom instruction.

  • Mentor students outside of class and provide guidance throughout the course.

  • Manage student assessments and grading with assistance from teaching assistants and the faculty coordinator and support achievement of course learning outcomes.

  • Teach a 14-week semester course consisting of approximately 28 class sessions.
