Required Degree:

Master's Degree (MBA, Master of International Business, or a related business field preferred.)

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of practical experience working in an entrepreneurial, international business, global marketing, or startup management setting.

  • Teaching or university-level mentoring experience is highly preferred.

  • Ability to integrate AI-inclusive design into curriculum structures.

  • Strong passion for experiential learning, digital media curation, and a demonstrated commitment to international business education.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, project management, and team-building skills.

Course Description:

The mission of the GlobalHub is to prepare students to make a lasting international impact by blending rigorous academic knowledge with hands-on global enterprise experience. Our primary methodology for achieving this aim is mentored student leadership. Through real-world business creation, product development, marketing, and applied research, we empower students to act as the "engine" that builds, scales, and sustains the GlobalHub products and its open-source resource library. This course is a unique, experiential learning program and 3-credit class that enables students to collaborate in teams to build and grow a live business circulating around international business issues. The course integrates classroom instruction with real-time entrepreneurial execution. Students will learn to manage product development, sales, marketing, and operations while gaining deep international business skills and navigating global market trends. Duties/Expectations:

  • Teach MSB 330R: GlobalHub, the experiential business course, providing instruction and mentorship to undergraduate students in a hands-on, project-based learning environment.

  • Coach and mentor student teams as they develop international business ventures, including product development, market validation, digital marketing, and sales strategies.

  • Supervise and guide student teaching assistants and student leaders, fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and high-accounting classroom culture.

  • Assess student performance and monitor project outcomes and ensure academic objectives and course learning goals are achieved.

  • Collaborate with faculty and the Whitmore Global Business Center to enhance curriculum, course content, and the overall student learning experience.

  • Oversee student-created business resources and digital content, ensuring work meets professional standards and incorporates current industry best practices.

  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and collaboration opportunities that strengthen students' leadership, communication, and cross-cultural business skills.

  • Support continuous improvement by evaluating program outcomes, analyzing key performance metrics, and recommending enhancements to the course and student experience.
