
Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Music to teach two courses in music history in the coming fall semester: 1) a 100-level survey of Western art music targeted at non-majors; and 2) a 200-level music history course on a subject commensurate with the successful candidate’s area of specialization. The course(s) will be taught in person beginning August 24, 2026; the employment period extends for two weeks following the completion of the fall semester. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The rank will be Adjunct Assistant Professor or Adjunct Instructor, depending on qualifications. The salary is $7,000 per course.
