Duties and Responsibilities:
The Department of Applied Science and Technology – Physics Program is seeking dynamic, industry-engaged, and tech-savvy part-time faculty
members to teach college-level physics courses. Candidates should be passionate about fostering learning in a diverse student population and
committed to creating an engaging academic experience.
The Adjunct Faculty’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide quality instruction for undergraduate students.
• Evaluate student progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Keeping track of student attendance.
• Submission of midterm and final grades online.
• Follow established teaching protocols within the physics program.

Tenure Information: Non-Tenure Track
Adjunct Rate: $850 – $993 per credit
Qualification Standards:
Education:
A Master’s degree in physics or a closely related field. Ph.D. in Physics and/or prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
Experience:
Candidates with industrial experience are also welcome to apply.
