Adjunct Lecturer, DanceThe Dance Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate course during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Fall 2026 Semester

The Dance Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach DNCE BC2562 Movement Analysis during the Fall 2026 semester (9/8/26-12/31/26).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Instruction of assigned classes.

· Provide interim and final grades for enrolled students.

· Be available to students through office hours (face to face or virtual).

· Collaborating with faculty as necessary.

· Be responsive to students and Chair/staff via email

Pay rate: $14,000

Your exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by your Chair.

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

Required Qualifications

MFA or PhD in Dance or appropriate related field from an Accredited College or University, or equivalent professional experience.

+ Experience in instructing in a professional setting.
