Job Title Adjunct Instructor of Percussion

Part-time position for a percussion instructor beginning August, 2019. Primary duties include teaching weekly percussion lessons to both music majors and non-majors, as well as teaching percussion ensemble and instructing the percussion section of the Scot Marching Band; full participation in marching band camp from August 13 - 20 is expected. There will also be opportunities for recitals and other public performances.
Qualifications Master’s degree required. Candidate must demonstrate evidence of successful performance and teaching, and the ability to be a congenial colleague.
Preferred qualifications Experience with world drumming is desirable. Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining students is highly desired.
Start Date August 13, 2019
