Job Description

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach multiple online asynchronous courses in Hospitality beginning in the fall, 2026 term and beyond.

Location: Online

Examples of Classes:

HSP 211: Introduction to Hospitality

HSP 312: Facilities Planning & Management

Term Dates

Fall 12-week August 24 - November 19

Fall 7-week: August 24 - October 16

Fall 7-week: October 19 - December 11

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a master's degree in Business Management or a relevant field and relevant experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Hospitality.
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
  • Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed.
