Purpose of Role
Part-time instructor role for college composition courses. Both online (asynchronous) and in-person positions are available. Online role involves administering a writing course through the Learning Management System, interacting with students remotely, grading, and administrative tasks. In-person role includes, in addition to the above, teaching face-to-face classes.
Part-Time Composition Instructor: Online (Summer 2026) & Amherst Campus (Fall 2026)
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in English, Writing Studies, or related field; previous experience teaching college-level Composition required. Preference will be given to applicants with post-secondary experience teaching First-Year Writing or Research Writing.
