TITLE: Adjunct History

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Adjunct Instructor or Adjunct Professor (non-tenure track) in History, with a minimum qualification of a Master’s Degree (18 credit hours in a History content area) in the field from an accredited institution, and commitment to teaching in a Historical Black College and University (HBCU) undergraduate liberal arts college with specialization in African American History preferred.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Teaching History Program courses as defined by the Faculty Handbook.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
OTHER DUTIES: Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
