Moraine Park Technical College is seeking part-time Natural Science instructors in the areas of Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, and Microbiology at the Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, and West Bend campuses. This position is responsible for the multiple modality delivery of instruction and facilitation of student learning and providing ongoing development of curriculum, assessment, and learning strategies to meet college academic and workforce needs. In addition, this position will provide regular student support and contact, or refer to the appropriate department, to meet the learner’s classroom and career goals.
The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, or a related field; alternatively, a Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, or Physiology. Two years (4,000 hours) of paid work experiences related to the program(s) being taught, including one year (2,000 hours) of paid work experience that has been acquired within the past five years. In lieu of this one year of recent experiences, two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the past five years may be considered. (Two years of post-secondary teaching experience means eight semesters of part-time teaching or four semesters of full-time teaching at an accredited institution.)
