The Department of Language, Literature, and Arts is seeking a p art-time faculty on the Somerset High School campus. The successful candidate will instruct lower-division undergraduate sections of music appreciation to dual-credit high school students. Mode of delivery is face to face. There may also be additional teaching opportunities, including courses on the A&M-SA campus and online instruction.

Salary: $3,000 per 3-credit course

Required Education and Eperience:

• Master’s Degree in Music, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Three or more years of experience teaching music courses.

• Familiarity with a wide variety of music genres.

• Familiarity with the needs of a non-traditional, first-generation, multicultural student body.

• SBEC Texas Educator Certificate.
