
The Communication Studies Department at Rowan University is seeking adjuncts to teach Public Speaking and Digital Presentations. The ability to teach additional courses such as Interpersonal Communication, Business & Professional Communication, and Technical Speaking for Engineers is a plus. Experience in teaching online and working with Neurodivergent and Honors students is also a desired asset. Qualified candidates must have at least an MA or MS in Communication Studies (or a closely related field) as well as teaching experience at the college level. Having the flexibility to teach various times during the day, especially 8 AM is preferred.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as needed basis.
