
The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for adjunct professors to teach a variety of courses in our Department during the Fall 2023 semester, with a potential to extend into future semesters. Available courses include:
A minimum of a master’s degree in Biology or related field is required, Ph.D. preferred. The ideal candidate will have some teaching experience at the college level and a commitment to student-centered teaching is required. Preference will be given to those with a record of teaching excellence at the university level. Familiarity with online teaching is a plus, but these courses will require an on-campus component from the successful applicant.
Consideration of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. Finalists may be asked to submit examples of their teaching excellence, including syllabi and student evaluations.
