Hatalom is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty to support the Marine Corps University (MCU) College of Distance Education and Training (CDET) Command and Staff College Distance Education Program (CSCDEP).
The CSCDEP develops critical thinkers, innovative problem solvers, and ethical leaders prepared to serve as commanders and staff officers in service, joint, interagency, and multinational organizations operating in complex security environments. Through the study of military history, national security, operational art, joint operations, and expeditionary warfare, the program prepares students to address 21st-century security challenges and lead effectively in dynamic operational environments.
Adjunct Faculty work closely with Regional Chief Instructors (RCIs) to provide graduate-level Professional Military Education (PME) instruction and mentorship to U.S. military personnel, foreign military officers, Department of Defense civilians, and interagency personnel enrolled in CSCDEP seminars. Faculty are responsible forfacilitating discussions, grading seminar contributions and written assignments, mentoring students, and fostering critical thinking through discussion-based learning.
The CSCDEP is a two-year distance education program consisting of 35 instructional weeks per academic year. Instruction may be delivered in resident, synchronous online, and asynchronous online formats. This position is contingent upon contract award.
