THE COLLEGE: Northern Essex Community College (NECC) serves about 5,000 credit students each semester on two campuses located in the beautiful, historic Merrimack Valley region of northeast Massachusetts. Our suburban Haverhill campus sits on 106 acres near Kenoza Lake and features a Technology Center and an award-winning Student One-Stop Center. Our urban campus in Lawrence occupies a number of buildings in the heart of downtown. Most recently, we have constructed a new 44,000 square foot health technologies facility, the Dr. Ibrahim El-Hefni Allied Health & Technology Center. POSITION: Adjunct Faculty - Business and Accounting: Behavioral Sciences Department; Business and Professional Studies Division; Haverhill (100 Elliott Street) or Lawrence campuses (45 Franklin Street); MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position
For Fall 2026, we are seeking instructors for a primarily day-accelerated, face-to-face Introduction to Accounting I (ACC101) class at 45 Franklin Street in Lawrence.
We are additionally seeking instructors to join our Adjunct Faculty pool to teach a variety of Business and Accounting courses on an as-needed basis. Classes are typically offered at NECC's Haverhill and/or Lawrence campuses during daytime and evening hours, as well as online, face-to-face, and in hybrid formats.

SALARY: $1,512.00/credit - $1,826.00/credit, per credit based on DCE step, per the DCE Contract, non-benefited.
