
The School of Professional Studies is seekingan adjunct instructor todevelop and teachthe new courseBiomanufacturing Processesforthe Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences.
The course will be offered in an online, synchronous,semester-based format geared toward part-time, adult undergraduate students The course will provide a strong understanding of the upstream and downstream processes involved, the relevant technologies, and the critical regulatory environment. Through a combination of interactive modules, virtual plant tours, and case studies, students will develop the critical thinking skills needed to apply foundational knowledge to real-world operational challenges. This course will prepare students for entry-level roles by focusing on the operational complexities and strategic decisions in biomanufacturing
The instructor will add their subject matter expertise and real-world examples, partnering with MCPHS leaders to ensure content is relevant to employers.As part of the course development process, the instructor will partner with a project manager and instructional design manager. The instructor will play an important role in the continuous improvement and overall success of the course. This role is crucial in establishing the foundation of theBachelor of Scienceprogram, directly impacting its quality and future success. The instructorwill help shape the learning experience for our students and will contribute to the growth of this exciting new academic offering.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

The pay range associated with this posting reflects the amount the University reasonably expects to pay for this role at this time. Salary offers are determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications as well as internal equity, market data and pay in comparison to similarly situated employees doing comparable work.
