The Department of International Affairs and Social Sciences at Zayed University is inviting applications for Adjunct Faculty positions in Political Science or International Relations. Candidates should hold a doctorate in Political Science or International Relations at the time of appointment and be prepared to teach undergraduate courses on International Relations, Comparative Political Systems, Foreign relations of the UAE.. etc. Applicant must be resident in the UAE.

College Information

The Department of International Affairs and Social Sciences is part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, which offers an undergraduate program in International Affairs with three concentrations in International Relations, Middle East and Gulf Studies, and Political Economy and Development. The International Affairs program takes a broad, multidisciplinary approach to studying Anthropology, History, Sociology, Humanities, and Political Science at the local, regional, and international levels.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will fully meet the expectations for the position, which include:

• A Ph.D. in Political Science or International Relations that is or can be equalized by the UAE Ministry of Education
• A proven record of excellenceat baccalaureate-level teaching
• Demonstrated ability to integrate web-based and/or digital technology in the classroom
