Adjunct Faculty - Anatomy & Physiology I &II, Biology 1&2 and Microbiology Lectures and Labs

"River Valley Community College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty teaching positions in Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Biology 1&2, and Microbiology lectures and labs. Previous teaching experience is preferred."

CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.

Summer 2026:

  • Anatomy & Physiology II Lecture, Tuesdays, 9:00am 01:15pm, taught synchronously online with Zoom
  • Anatomy & Physiology II Lab, Tuesdays, 4:00pm 08:15pm in Keene

Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027

  • Anatomy & Physiology 1 instructors needed for various lectures and lab sections. All lab sections are on campus. Lecture sections may be online or on campus.
  • Anatomy & Physiology 2 instructors needed for various lectures and lab sections. All lab sections are on campus. Lecture sections may be online or on campus.
  • Microbiology instructors for lecture and/or lab sections. All lab sections are on campus. Lecture sections may be online or on campus.
  • Biology 1 instructors for lecture and/or lab sections. All lab sections are on campus. Lecture sections may be online or on campus.
  • Biology 2 instructors for lecture and/or lab sections. All lab sections are on campus. Lecture sections may be online or on campus.

The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour for the Academic year. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Master’s Degree (Lecture instructor) or Bachelor's degree (lab instructors only) in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology or other related field

Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in teaching. Online/remote teaching experience preferred.
