Job Description

Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.

Although we are accepting applications for the Advanced Manufacturing Program, we may not have an immediate need with someone with your background and experience. Your information will stay on file and active.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in Electrical Technology. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education shall require an Associate's degree in a subject area closely related to Electrical Technology.

Experience: Five years of teaching experience in Electrical Technology or three years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Electrical Technology.

OR

Education: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in Electrical Technology. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education shall require an Associate's degree in a subject area closely related to Electrical Technology.

Experience: Three years of teaching experience in Electrical Technology or three years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Electrical Technology.

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.

The Vice President of Academic Affairs will determine adjunct levels. Adjunct level will be determined based upon Education and Experience. Rates for Fall 2025 will be:

Level 1 - $825.00 per contact hour for the course

Level 2 - $900.00 per contact hour for the course

Level 3 - $975.00 per contact hour for the course
