NHU-Riyadh is the Saudi branch campus of the University of New Haven, a private, nonprofit university founded in 1920 in Connecticut, USA. The College of Business and Digital Innovation at NHU-Riyadh invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in Accounting for the Fall 2026 term. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and growing department, delivering a quality foundation of accounting competencies for majors in Riyadh. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to teaching excellence, and a student-centered approach.

Adjunct instructors are hired locally or regionally to teach specific courses in which they have particular expertise. They normally teach no more than half of the full-time load. Adjunct instructors receive a letter of appointment for each semester in which they teach; they are paid on a per-course basis. No expectation of continuing employment is implied.

  • Courses are primarily offered on-ground
  • Eligible candidates will be asked to present a teaching demonstration (via Zoom)

You will:

  • Teach one or more introductory undergraduate courses such as Principles of Accounting and Intro to Managerial Accounting (US GAAP)
  • Teach one or more introductory graduate level courses such as Intro to Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting for the MBA program (US GAAP)

You need:

  1. A Masters/MBA with CPA or Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field
  2. Knowledge of and ability to teach Accounting according to US GAAP
  3. Preferably prior teaching experience teaching college-level students
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Ability to prepare courses with best pedagogical practice in mind
  6. Experience with instructional technology
  7. Experience with previous online/remote or hybrid teaching, using web based instructional software, or other learning management systems
  8. Familiarity with, or the ability to quickly adopt the Canvas LMS.
