The Adjunct Instructor, Teacher Education, is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality instruction in teacher education courses, assessing and grading student coursework, and providing timely feedback to support student success. This position fosters an inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of diverse learners from a variety of backgrounds, collaborates in course development and improvement efforts, and teaches in alignment with the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs) to prepare future educators for professional success

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires an ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, to present oral lectures/demonstrations, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. Indian River State College expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
