The School of Visual and Performing Arts is currently seeking an experienced Hip Hop adjunct professor with expertise across a wide range of hip hop styles and techniques, including but not limited to popping, locking, and voguing. Demonstrates a strong understanding of hip hop foundations, history, and culture while fostering technical development, artistic expression, and authenticity in student learning experiences.The course is in Fall semester, with classes starting on 9/1/26 and ending on 12/18/26:

COMPENSATION PER COURSE:

Payment for each course is $1,100.

All courses meet in person.

Each section meets for 1 hr and 15 minutes a week.

Instructors are expected to:

  • Deliver the course(s) in person or online in their assigned time blocks.

  • Abide by Endicott’s academic policies as described in the College’s faculty handbook.

  • Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.

  • Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.

  • Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.

  • Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.

  • Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.

  • Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.

  • Use the Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.

Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
