Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess established evidence of professional innovation or technology accomplishments in design or analysis, entrepreneurship, project management or corporate management, and be recognized as a leader in the field in which they work. A graduate degree in a field related to their area of expertise is highly preferred.  

The College of Innovation & Technology clinical positions will carry the internal titles of:

  • Adjunct Associate Professor of Practice (Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor)
  • Adjunct Professor of Practice (Adjunct Clinical Professor)
  • Associate Professor of Practice (Clinical Associate Professor)
  • Professor of Practice (Clinical Professor)

An Associate rank requires candidates to be subject matter experts in their respective field as well as achieving professional recognition for their work.

In addition to the requirements of the Associate rank, the Professor rank requires candidates to have achieved status of senior-level, or c-level, leaders within industry.

Mode of Work

Hybrid

The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes here

Background Screening
