Job Description

Leidos has an opening for a Ratchet Mission Applications, Mission Applications Service Center Technical Lead supporting mission applications operations in Aurora, CO. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience to support our customer’s mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting best-in-class operations in a dynamic enterprise environment for a variety of customer driven emphasis items.

Qualified applicants must be self-motivated and be able to perform expertly given consistently evolving priorities. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of managing operations with flawless execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a mission critical software service center Domain for a global IT enterprise
  • Ensure the availability of mission processors by managing all aspects of comprehensive and proactive Tier 2 SW maintenance
  • Support the Customer with engineering solutions and processes that enable agility, speed, and security - across the diverse types of opportunities and programs including Software Engineering and Cloud Solutions
  • Maintain, update, and execute rigorous engineering tools, processes, and resources – and drive innovation into these areas
  • Support growth through the development of innovative ideas and solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure proper engineering discipline, rigor, reporting, and focus in our solutions and planning for current and new business opportunities
  • Develop highly innovative solutions to resolve complex problems involving limited and disparate information through the application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation, and integration of best practices
  • Ensure Domain performs all service center activities flawlessly and with customer focus
  • Coordinate with other maintenance, operations and engineering contract leaders as required
  • Manage all aspects of service center Domain staffing and technical execution
  • Ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • United States’ citizen with current TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience or 4 additional years in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management or related disciplines
  • Proven leadership experience with constructive, collaborative approach
  • Proven experience with one or more of the following program management disciplines:
  • Program management
  • Financial management of complex government contracts
  • Contracts and/or subcontracts management
  • Enterprise management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively with other leaders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or other project/program management certifications
  • International program experience
  • Proposal development

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
