Job Description

AZTECA MILLING USAis a growing part of a much larger, multinational organization, Gruma Corporation.

JOB REQUIREMENT/DUTIES

Able to work in exterior and interior environments
Able to work in elevated areas
Able to lift 50lbs
Ability to use computer softwares
High School Diploma/G.E.D./Technical/Engineering Degree – Required
Knowledge of maceration, additives and packing process
Supervise the packing of flour in different presentations - 50 lbs. 25 lbs. 20lbs Retail, tote bags and bulk).
Supervise addition of lime or vitamins in packing.
Supervise the mixing of additives mixes.
Maintain shift employees attendance and absence reports
Maintain shift employees work schedules and advise of any corrections needed
Supervise addition of ingredients for each mix, time of mixing and control all flour specifications in conjunction with Quality Assurance Department.
Keep control of the inventory of raw and packing material additives and order packing materials needed for the daily packing.
Prepare additive/packing reports
Report any electrical and mechanical malfunctions in the additives, proof sifter and packing area to the maintenance department via Mobile Frame program
Supervise the reprocess of flour on both units (via reprocess silos or directly to the units).
Cover Shift Foreman position when necessary
Participate in all jobs and specials tasks assigned by supervisor, training courses and any other support labor for the plant.
Must be able to perform duties in all applicable work instructions.
Regular and timely attendance is a job requirement of all employees
