Job Description

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional full-time Addiction's Counselor to join our team in a new Level 3.1 male location! 

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful independent living. 


Responsibilities include:
  • Run OP / IOP substance use disorder groups. 
  • Complete substance use disorder assessments, treatment plans, group notes, & other clinical documentation under the supervision of an LCSW-C. 
  • Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care & treatment. 
  • Attain occasional trainings & maintain licensure requirements. 

Qualifications include: 
  • Active ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW or LGPC license in the State of Maryland. 
  • At least 2 years' experience with a substance use disorder population. 
  • Computer literate & experience working in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. 
  • Possess sound judgement, professionalism, & compassion for client care. 
  • Excellent documentation & communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements. 
Hours:
  • Full Time 
  • Monday - 12:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Tuesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm 
  • Wednesday - 9:00am - 5:00pm 
  • Thursday - 12:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Friday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
