The Short-Stay Crisis Services Addictions Support Program (Safe Beds) supports people who are staying in the Mississauga Short-Stay Crisis Support Program, operated by Services and Housing in the Province (SHIP), for whom substance use negatively affects their life. This program provides supportive addiction counselling to clients of the program. Additionally, the counsellor is integrated into the on-site team and works collaboratively with client and the care team to assist clients to transition from Safe beds into the community with an established support network.
We are hiring for one (1) full-time, permanent role working 80-90% in a community based setting.

We provide a community treatment experience that includes counselling (individual and/or group), tailored to meet your needs. To provide the best experience for you, community treatment includes comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, case management, and referrals to other programs and services that will benefit you. PAARC also offers an aftercare program for persons coming from residential treatment and want ongoing support. We also provide information and education about substances, gambling, emotional concerns, and mental illness.
