- Application Deadline: April 8, 2026 - The Addiction and Mental Health Worker, Supportive Shared Housing, aims to contribute to an integrated mental health system by providing community-based mental health services and to optimize mental well-being through education, advocacy, research, and support services. We envision a supportive community where people achieve, manage, and celebrate mental well-being.
This role provides comprehensive, flexible community support services to ensure that opportunities/supports for individuals to experience a variety of life situations, which further develop levels of independence are offered and promote the achievement of client self-prescribed goals, both on and off program site.

Police Vulnerable Sector Check Requirements
Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC.

CMHA TVAMHS is one of the largest branches in the national CMHA federation, with more than 650 employees and approximately 300 volunteers, serving communities across three counties with a total population of over 635,000.
The organization was established in April 2021 when three organizations (Addiction Services of Thames Valley, CMHA Elgin-Middlesex and CMHA Oxford) united to better serve the mental health and addiction needs of the Thames Valley Region.
