Job Description

Our team will submit your previous cycle’s finalized committee letter packet along with an Addendum Letter (new 1-3 pages) that highlights the steps you have taken to become a more competitive applicant. Once the Addendum Letter is written, a packet of materials is uploaded directly to the primary application service(s).

The Addendum Pre-Health Committee Letter packet includes the following

• NEW Addendum Letter to the composite letter of recommendation, highlighting the steps the studenthas taken to become a more competitiveapplicant.
• A NEW brief cover letter explaining the Addendum Letter and students that qualify for support from our program.
• Original Penn LPS Pre-Health Committee Letter ofrecommendation that was completed the previous cycle.
• Original individual letters ofevaluation that were included in the previous cycle’s committee letter packet (minimum 3- maximum 5 LOEs).

The deadline to request an Addendum Pre-Health Committee Letter is May 1st Requests submitted after the deadline date will not be accepted.

Qualifications

Target Student: The following instructions are for Penn LPS Pre-Health Post-Bacc Programs students who fall into one of the categories below:

• Reapplicant to medical or dental school and received a finalized Penn LPS Pre-HealthCommittee Letter from the previouscycle.
• Delayed applicant postponed applying to medical or dental school but received a finalized PennLPS Pre-Health Committee Letter from the previouscycle.

Application Instructions

Students must submit the following request and supporting materials no later than May 1st for an Addendum:

• Addendum Intent to Apply Form
• Addendum Essayresponses
• An updatedcopy of your resume

In addition, if applicable the following items must be uploaded as Additional Documents and labeled accordingly:

• Official or unofficial transcript(s) from each institution where you took and currently taking college courses AFTER completion of Penn Pre-Health Post-Bacc Programs coursework.
  • Unofficial copies must be legible and include degree confirmation when applicable or they will not be accepted.
• A copy of the previous cycle’s processed primary application (e.g. AMCAS, AACOMAS, TMDSAS, ADEA AADSAS).
• A copy of your MCAT or DAT score report(s).
