Primary Responsibilities:

• Â Teach swimmers with varying abilities and special needs through our Golden Learner program using adaptive teaching techniques in accordance with our proprietary curriculumÂ
• Â Provide individualized support, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to swimmersÂ
• Â Foster a safe, patient, and inclusive learning environmentÂ
• Â Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding swimmer progress and achievementsÂ
• Â Collaborate with team members to ensure the best experience for all swimmersÂ

Job Qualifications and Skills:

• Â Experience working with children, especially children with special needs, preferredÂ
• Â Patient, compassionate, and positive attitudeÂ
• Â Excellent communication and organizational skillsÂ
• Â Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual swimmer needsÂ
• Â High energy and strong work ethicÂ
• Â Comfortable working in the water and leading group or one-on-one instructionÂ
• Â Must pass background examinations prior to trainingÂ

The safety of our swimmers, parents, and team members is of the utmost importance. Goldfish Swim School follows all CDC and WHO safety standards along with all local guidelines. Additional safety precautions and procedures include:

• Â Every shift has an on-staff cleaner to sanitize high-touch areas in our lobby and pool areasÂ
• Â Our pools are disinfected with chlorine to provide the safest swimming environmentÂ
• Â Our state-of-the-art ventilation system continuously circulates fresh air throughout the buildingÂ
• Â Indoor pools are recognized by industry experts as safer indoor environments for minimizing virus transmissionÂ

Goldfish Swim School - Roswell Village is a learn-to-swim facility for children ages 4 months to 12 years. Our proven confidence-building curriculum promotes a love of swimming while teaching children to be safer in and around the water. Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
