GYMGUYZ is an in-home personal training company providing convenient, personalized fitness coaching. Our trainers work one-on-one with clients in their homes, building programs around each client's goals, abilities, and fitness level.

Position Overview

We're seeking a Personal Trainer – Adaptive & Special Populations to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with a diverse range of clients and comfortable adapting exercises for individuals with different physical abilities, mobility levels, or special needs. Candidates with backgrounds in personal training, physical therapy, occupational therapy, exercise science, rehabilitation, or adaptive fitness are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional, engaging one-on-one training sessions
• Develop individualized programs based on client goals and abilities
• Modify exercises for clients with mobility limitations, injuries, or disabilities
• Deliver strength, mobility, balance, and functional movement training
• Monitor performance and adjust programs as needed
• Build professional relationships with clients (and caregivers when appropriate)
• Maintain accurate session notes and communicate updates to the team
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries in clients' homes
• Follow GYMGUYZ safety standards and scope-of-practice guidelines

Qualifications

• Current personal training certification preferred
• Experience with special populations, older adults, or rehabilitation clients a plus
• Background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, PT/OT, or related field preferred
• CPR/AED certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, patience, and adaptability
• Comfortable providing in-home training
• Located in or near Fremont, CA preferred

Compensation: $70.00 per hour
