Adaptation Programme Oncology 2027

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2,500 staff including 350 leading consultants. We treat more than 200,000 patients annually. We are now inviting applications for the above post from suitably qualified and experienced candidates.

Bon Secours Hospital Cork are now inviting applications for Adaptation 2027 for a 7 week Adaptation for Oncology Nurses.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must hold an in-date decision letter from NMBI for 2027
  • Must hold an in in-date OET/IELTS for up to and including December 2027.
  • Must have at least 4 years’ experience within the last 6 years in an acute setting and JCI accredited hospital.
  • Must have extensive Medical Oncology experience and must be competent in chemotherapy administration.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and clinical skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Must be computer literate
  • Flexibility and excellent use of initiative

Terms & Conditions:

  • 2 years employment contract - during the first 12 months two performance reviews will take place, once completed satisfactorily you will receive a Permanent Staff Nurse contract subject to permit status.
