The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is seeking an ADA Administrative Coordinator(Human ResourcesAnalyst1) to join our Office of Human Resources within the Agency Operations Division. Located in Salem, Oregon, this full-time position serves as the vitalinitialpoint of contact for the agency's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) program.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide essential technical and administrativeassistanceto the Agency’s ADA Program Administrators and Analysts. In this role, you will manage the intake and logging of accommodation requests,maintaincomplex and highly confidential ADA record platforms, compile data for compliance reporting, andassistwith procurement and vendor coordination for job accommodations. This position ensures all requests are processed efficiently and in strict compliance with the ADA, ADAAA, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and applicable state policies.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:These qualifications must bereflectedin yourapplicationfor consideration.

Abachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or Development, Business or Public Administration, the Applied Behavioral Sciences, IndustrialRelationsor a job-related course of studydeterminedby the appointing authority; OR

Valid Certification as a Professional in Human Resource awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute, and one-year Human Resource experience; OR

Three years Human Resource paraprofessional or technical-level experience.

  • The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six months of human resource professional-level experience.

  • Valid certification as a SHRM Certified Professional awarded by a nationally recognized organization, substitutes for one year of human resource professional-level experience.

  • Valid certification as a PSHRA-CP from the Public Sector HR Association substitutes for one year of professional human resources experience.

  • Basic understanding of general human resource functions, ADA/ADAAA processes, and federal or Oregon state employment laws and regulations.

  • Proven ability to handle, log, and securehighly sensitive, confidential medical documentation and correspondence withappropriate discretion

  • Exceptional organizational ability with a demonstrated capacity to work independently, manage competing workloads, and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability toprovideclear guidance, instructions, and explanationsregardingcomplex processes to employees, managers, and external process partners.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships, collaborate effectively across all levels of staff,whileprofessionallyfacilitatingcommunication andresolvingissuesbetween individuals with competing interests.

  • Skill inutilizingpersonal computers, enterprise communication platforms, and the Microsoft 365 suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint) tomaintainsystems, generate ad hoc reports, and manage data.
