Our Actuarial team is seeking a highly motivated, business-minded professional with a strong track record of generating and implementing innovative ideas. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-impact actuarial analyses aligned with Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) principles.

In this role, you will serve as a lead analyst supporting our actuarial state pricing team, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business challenges, analyzing underlying drivers, and deliver actionable recommendations that improve overall business performance and profitability.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity where your work directly influences pricing strategy and business outcomes. You’ll collaborate with a talented, collaborative team, contribute to meaningful innovation, and continue advancing your actuarial career in a growth-oriented environment that supports professional development and CAS credential progression.

What You’ll Do

  • Build deep expertise in personal lines auto, homeowners, and/or commercial lines insurance products
  • Lead and support actuarial analyses for rate changes and strategic initiatives, including:
    • Evaluating pricing for new and existing rating elements and coverages
    • Quantifying top-line and bottom-line impacts of both rate and non-rate actions
    • Assessing and forecasting the effects of product, market, and economic changes on profitability and rate adequacy
  • Apply data-driven decision-making while leveraging sound actuarial judgment
  • Utilize strong technical skills (particularly SQL) to efficiently retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data across multiple sources
  • Work independently with a high degree of accountability, including performing reasonability checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Clearly communicate analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to peers, business partners, and senior leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities and recommend/implement process and methodological improvements
  • Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to less experienced team members
  • Actively pursue actuarial credentialing through the CAS pathway, progressing toward ACAS designation

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of actuarial experience or equivalent related expertise
  • Progress toward actuarial credentialing with 3–5 CAS exams completed
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent professional-level knowledge in a specialized field combined with related experience
  • Proven experience conducting intermediate-level quantitative analyses
  • Strong foundation in actuarial, analytical, and coding techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with business partners and senior leadership
  • Experience contributing to or implementing methodology and process improvements
  • Ability to independently complete intermediate analyses, with exposure to more complex projects under managerial guidance
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and recommend prioritization of tasks
