About the Role:
We’re looking for an Actuarial Manager, ALM & Inforce Management who is responsible for technical modeling, strategic initiatives, and process innovation, supporting both business-as-usual ALM deliverables and forward-looking optimization efforts. You’ll play a key role in enhancing modeling capabilities, modernizing processes, and translating complex actuarial insights into actionable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a technically strong, self-directed problem solver who can connect detailed modeling work to broader strategic goals.
What You’ll Do:
ALM Reporting & Core Deliverables
• Maintain and enhance the ALM deliverable cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliability
• Support core ALM analytics and reporting tied to inforce business and financial performance
Modeling, Tools & Platform Strategy
• Execute the future state modeling platform strategy, including leading model conversions for ALM projections
• Develop, enhance, and maintain actuarial models to support ALM and inforce management activities
• Establish and enforce modeling standards, best practices, and documentation
Process Optimization & Automation
• Streamline and automate legacy model input/output processes to create scalable, controlled workflows
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI and advanced tools into day to day actuarial workflows
• Improve transparency, governance, and repeatability across modeling processes
Strategic Initiatives & Inforce Management
• Support strategic, ad hoc projects related to inforce optimization and broader business initiatives
• Contribute insights that connect actuarial modeling outputs to strategic decision making
Cross Functional Collaboration
• Partner across actuarial, finance, and other business teams to drive aligned outcomes
• Communicate complex technical findings clearly to a range of stakeholders
What You’ll Bring:
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) with a minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience in pricing, modeling, and/or valuation.
• Excellent business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical work into clear, actionable insights.
• Demonstrated ability to engage at the technical and execution level while connecting individual tasks to broader strategic goals.
• Enthusiastic about developing and improving tools and processes, with a focus on automation and user experience.
• Proactive, self-directed work style with proven success managing projects independently.
• Technical proficiency in SQL and R/Python (strongly preferred).
