About the Role

As a Risk Intern at AIA Re, you will work closely with our risk management team to support critical risk assessment, modeling, and reporting activities. This 6-month internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the reinsurance industry and exposure to various aspects of enterprise risk management.Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in the collection, analysis, and management of reinsurance exposure data from ceding business unit
•Help develop and maintain risk system (eGRC) to assess the impact of various risk factors on the AIA Re's operation
•Support the preparation of risk reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and other stakeholders
•Participate in risk committee meetings and contribute to discussions on emerging risks and mitigation strategies
•Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in reinsurance risk management
•Provide general support to the risk management team as needed, including ad-hoc data analysis and project coordination
Job Requirements:
•University graduate or undergraduate in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance orFinance with strong mathematics background
•Have a strong command of English and Chinese (reading and writing)
•Demonstrate abilities to problem solve and work independently
•Solid analytical skills and business sense
•Possess the requisite self-confidence required to raise issues and ask questions of peers, supervisors, and otheremployees
•Strong analytical and organisational skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
