Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

Required professional background and skills:

Preferably with a university degree in Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance / Mathematics, Physics, Economics or related,
1-2 years of professional experience in Actuarial team at insurance company or in advisory/consulting
Working knowledge of statistical models and actuarial mathematics models,
Programming skills (e.g. VBA, C++, R, Python) as well as exposure to actuarial software (e.g. Earnix, Prophet, ResQ),
Very good skills in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel,
Strong written and verbal Polish and English communication skills,
Creativity and analytical thinking to solve complex problems,
Team player and proactive attitude.

We consider as an advantage:

Experience in life insurance,
German or other foreign language.

Your future role

Our growing actuarial team is looking for Actuarial Consultant who will:

Actively contribute to a development of Deloitte’s actuarial team,
Prepare actuarial calculations, valuation models, and data analyses,
Write reports and prepare presentations for senior stakeholders and clients,
Take part in a preparation of marketing materials and proposals,
Work with Deloitte colleagues from Poland as well as numerous foreign offices.
