Milliman is seeking actuarial professionals to join our life insurance consulting practice based in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for candidates with 3-7 years of experience in actuarial modelling, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment alongside a global team of experts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our team of consultants working across the globe, while delivering high-quality projects to our global client base
  • Work on a diverse range of actuarial projects (actuarial modelling, valuations, pricing, business planning, mergers and acquisitions amongst others)
  • Contribute to research and drive innovative new solutions
  • Work effectively and efficiently in project teams led by senior actuaries
  • Help develop and maintain client relationships
  • Work in a flexible, but fast-paced environment

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Significant experience of actuarial modelling (ideally on FIS Prophet®), with knowledge of modelling best practices, modelling techniques, model validation, and model documentation
  • Ability to take ownership of a technical challenge and see it through to a successful conclusion
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • 3-7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, etc.)
  • Significant progress on examinations from a recognized professional body/institute
  • Knowledge of actuarial software and commonly used software is preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as well as independently with minimum supervision
  • Driven and self-motivated
