Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Activity Therapist in our Geriatric Psychiatry and Swing Bed departments.
The Activity Coordinator position directs State mandated hospital activity treatment programs for Geriatric Psychiatry and Swing Bed patients. In addition, this position oversees and directs the Teen Volunteer (STAT) Program. The level of independent decision making and policy interpretation skills needed encompasses a broad mix of educational expertise in clinical care and management of patient regulations. This position leads projects designed to promote excellence within the department and works cooperatively with the medical staff and other departments within the Patient Services areas.
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Recreational or Occupational Therapy.
Professional Experience: Prefer one-year related experience and/or additional educational preparation in management
Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm, No weekends, No Holidays
