Target Salary Range*:$73,000 - $74,000

*This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

The Activity Security Representative I provides multi-disciplined security support to a customer’s facility and organization. This position provides day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.

Key Responsibilities

Document Control and Classified Material Support

• Perform classification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.
• Assist in maintaining a document accountability database and associated correspondence.
• Process inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.
• Perform destruction of classified materials.
• Process magnetic media for accountability.
• Provide reproduction support for classified materials.
• Maintain daily logs for administrative functions associated with document control.
• Assist in processing inbound data and outbound data transfer files.
• Transfer electronic data files to internal customers.

Security Administration and Access Control

• Maintain an extensive customer database point of contact listing.
• Assist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.
• Escort facility visitors and maintain associated logs.
• Assist in preparing facility access control badges.
• Conduct entry and exit inspections.
• Assist in maintaining facility access control entry systems, including visitor control.
• Perform data entry to the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain customer-sponsored billets and quota information.
• Assist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.

Security Programs and Administrative Support

• Follow and enforce the customer’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide support for security awareness and education programs.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.

Qualifications

Experience

• 0-2 years of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree counts as four years of experience.
• Associate’s degree in a related area counts as two years of experience.

Certifications

• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts toward one year of experience.
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts toward one year of experience.
• Maximum equivalent experience for SPED certifications is no more than three years.
• One year of experience applies for each separate SPED certification, not to exceed three years.

Clearance

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Must be willing to obtain a CI Poly.

Other Requirements

• Kirtland AFB, NM.
• 5 Year Air Force contract.
• Special Access Program (SAP).

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience.
• Bachelor’s degree
