
The schedule is for Tuesday- Saturday, 9am-5pm and the pay range is $20-$22. hour

In collaboration with the Enliven Director, the Enliven Program Assistant designs and implements a dynamic engagement program that enriches residents’ lives across all wellness domains, guided by the Five Enliven principles: Partnership, Relationship, Movement, Innovation, and Self-expression.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Resident Engagement: Designs daily programs aligned with the Five Guiding Principles to support meaningful resident experiences.
• Program Planning: Develops and executes personalized daily schedules based on residents' interests and abilities.
• Collaboration: Partners with the Zest Department to create monthly event calendars.
• Supplies Management: Procures and maintains supplies, including Creative Connection Kits.
• Event Coordination: Plans and facilitates Family Nights and other resident/family events.
• Record Keeping: Maintains program documentation as requested by the Enliven Director.
• Special Requests: Coordinates with the kitchen on special food needs for events.
• Outings: Plans resident outings and arranges transportation as needed.
• Resident Updates: Communicates resident changes and family concerns to the Enliven Director.
• Family Engagement: Shares positive resident moments through a proactive communication plan.
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Skilled in engaging groups and delivering effective presentations.
• Ability to interpret safety protocols, procedures, and technical documents.
• Exceptional organization, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making sound, independent decisions.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Reliable, with consistent attendance, professional appearance, and deadline adherence.
• Experience engaging individuals with dementia across various stages.
• Travel may include domestic travel to different communities for business need.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software systems.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
• First Aid / CPR certification required
• Experience working with seniors is preferred
Physical Demands:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
