WORK HOURS:
Up to 200 hours (typically from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. plus meets/games/performances) per Activities Season.
JOB DUTIES:
Duties may include:
1. Assist student(s) with special needs during activities
2. Supervise special education student(s) to ensure safety
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma
2. Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals*
3. Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations
4. Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds
5. Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team
*Attach passing exam scores from either the ParaPra / ParaEducator or college transcripts to your application if not already on file.
SALARY and BENEFITS:
Salary based on the 2025-2027 School Support Employees Agreement Level V from $20.58 up to $25.94 per hour; no additional benefits.
