Compensation Information: $19.35 per hour (updated wage effective May 01, 2026)

Physical Requirement: Light (L), work activities involve handling loads up to 10kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:

  • Highly developed guest relations skills with the ability to assess the needs and up-sell our products.
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work responsibly and independently.
  • Strong computer and cash handling skills.
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual team player.
  • Previous customer/guest service experience.
  • A good knowledge of the regional area and willingness to learn.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and work to tight timelines.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Daily operation of the Sales Desk/Activities Desk in the Village Day Lodge. May help out on Guest Services Desk if needed.
  • Contact position for guests regarding bike lessons, lift tickets, hiking tours, water sport rentals, disc golf, and resort information both in-person, and over the phone.
  • Deals with guests in an efficient, courteous, respectful, and friendly manner.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to exceeding the customer’s expectations.
  • Manages all cash transactions in a secure and accurate manner.
  • Highly organized and efficient in the workplace.
  • Always follows company policies and procedures.
  • Security and accountability of tickets and cash.
  • Balancing daily sales to computer reports.

Sun Peaks Resort is a premier four-season destination located in the stunning interior of British Columbia. As Canada’s second-largest destination resort, we’re home to 4,270 acres of skiable terrain, 144 trails, an 895m vertical drop, and a 10-acre terrain park, offering endless opportunities for winter adventure.
