You can help bring our villages to life!
At Summerset, from the moment we start developing a village, to when our residents call it home, it’s the passion and dedication of our people that brings our villages to life. We are one team united by being part of something bigger – to bring the best of life to our residents.
We are looking for an energetic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our Aotea village Ideally you will have experience in events, hospitality or aged care, but more important to us will be your genuine care of people from all walks of life.
Activities Coordinator – More Than a Job, It's a Chance to Make a Difference
If you're looking for a role where you can have fun, be creative, and genuinely brighten someone's day, then being an Activities Coordinator could be the perfect fit.
Every day brings something different. From organising themed events, entertainment, and celebrations to planning exciting outings and experiences, you'll have the opportunity to create memorable moments that residents look forward to. Your creativity, energy, and enthusiasm can turn an ordinary day into something truly special.
One of the most rewarding parts of the role is the relationships you build. You'll get to know residents, hear their stories, share plenty of laughs, and become a valued part of their community. There is immense job satisfaction in helping older people stay connected, active, and engaged, while supporting their wellbeing and quality of life.
This role is perfect for someone who loves people, enjoys thinking outside the box, and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences. While good administration and organisation are essential to keep everything running smoothly, being efficient with the paperwork means you can spend more time doing the good stuff — interacting with residents, running activities, and making a positive difference every day.
If you thrive on connection, creativity, and helping others live their best lives, this is a role that offers purpose, variety, and plenty of fun along the way.
This permanent role working 40hrs Monday - Friday + occasional events.
