Our nursing home community is searching for an Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team.
We’re looking for a caring and compassionate person who would love to make a difference in peoples' lives. We’re looking for an individual who truly cares about making our community the best home possible for our residents.
Available Positions:
- 2 Part-Time Positions: One in our rehabilitation and long term care neighborhoods and one in our memory care neighborhood. Every other weekend - shifts are 10 am to 4 pm.
This is a great opportunity for a high school student or someone looking to spend time and be involved with the well-being of our geriatric population! It is a very rewarding environment!
Primary functions include (but not limited to):
Qualifications
Three to four years of high school, basic everyday living skills, the ability to understand and follow directions, and the ability to read, write, add and subtract are required.

The Lutheran Home: Belle Plaine is a 60-bed skilled nursing facility that comprises of a Transitional Care Unit (TCU), Long-Term Care (LTC) and memory care.
