Job Description

The Activation Consultant position will be a part of the team that delivers the CareIntellect suite of products, including Command Center. This role will work as part of a client delivery team to activate hospital Command Center software and related process improvement work to help providers achieve next level performance.  The Consultant will be responsible for evaluating current workflows, designing new processes and roles, and activating the software with care teams.  The Consultant will own and personally deliver pieces of the overall client engagement.

This role will requires weekly travel to customer sites nationwide Monday-Thursday with remote work on Fridays.

  • Client facingrole;responsible for the delivery of consultancyand software activationservicesat a client site(s)specifically in the hospital acute care setting

  • Developconceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specializedexpertiseor technical knowledge in broad areasuch as hospital operations

  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education orpast experience Understands how work of own team contributes to thebroader strategy.

  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.Exchanges technical information,asks questions and checks for understanding.

  • Responsible for providing consulting services to a client and to help achieve businessobjectives
  • Independently collects, validates, analyzesand synthesizesdata to support engagement objectives.
  • Plansand completesassigned work within the engagement with high quality on time
  • Preparesand deliverssuccinct,clearand insightful executive-level presentations.
  • Proactivelyidentifiesclient needs andassistin developing solutions.
  • Facilitateseffective, cross-functional working sessions with clients and GE stakeholders.
  • Establishescredibility and developsrelationships with mid-level client managers.
  • Servesas a professional representative of GE Healthcare in all public and client settings.
  • Accountable for the quality of own work.
  • Executes within a well-defined operations framework.
  • Travel expectation: 75%-80%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree related to Health Sciences

  • MastersDegree related to Health Sciences or 1-3 years relevant experience

  • Basic awareness and understanding of the Healthcare industryideallyin theacute care/hospital clinical operations. 

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point

  • Strong interpersonal, communicationand teamwork skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills

  • Dependable: able to work independently and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.

  • Adaptable: able to adjust work and communication style based on situational needs.

  • Demonstrate an aptitude for critical thinking to included evaluation of ideas and synthesizing information into insights.

  • The ability to travel weekly (Monday-Thursday) to client sites nationwide.

Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to create impactful client facing communications and presentations

  • Deep patient flow and hospital operationsexpertise

  • Demonstrated data mining and analytical skills(e.g.using tools such as SQL)

  • Demonstrated experience in Change Management tools

  • Demonstrated experience in LEAN or Six Sigma tools

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

For
U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $84,000.00-$126,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
