In this role, you'll:

  • Provide coordinated management of findings and actions across Sydney Trains on behalf of the System Integrity Unit and the Engineering System Integrity (ESI) function
  • Follow up on outstanding issues, follow up on Audits, plan and support managers for what overdue actions are coming up
  • Manage, track and report on audits, inspections and other assurance activities and their findings
  • Engage with stakeholders, support timely resolution of actions, track responses to findings and provide accurate progress updates
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, take minutes, and track responses to findings and actions.
  • Ensure all findings/actions are accurately updated in relevant systems
  • Provide input to support the review and enhancement of software and application systems

Your main goal will be to Close actions, improve business processes and generally work towards making the business better.

This is a permanent full-time position based out of the Clyde Depot.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications are not essential but a background in an engineering environment, ideally aircraft or rail with regulated processes is essential
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating corrective actions and managing feedback
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to develop complex documents, spreadsheets and reporting tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the business positively and engage confidently stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and deliver quality work under pressure
