About the Role:
Build, wire and test low‑voltage control panels and switchgear. Ensure high-quality workmanship, support FATs and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire control panels to drawings
Terminations, component mounting & cable dressing
Continuity/functional testing & fault finding
Interpret schematics & BOMs
Ensure compliance with BS EN 61439 / BS 7671
Support workshop safety, quality & improvement
About You:
Proven industrial panel wiring/switchgear experience
Strong schematic reading skills
High attention to detail
Good testing and diagnostic ability
Knowledge of relevant standards
IT‑literate, mentoring experience beneficial
Full UK driving licence
Desirable: Electrical qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ3), PLC/HMI wiring experience, Food & Beverage/process sector exposure.
