ACT Program Manager (Licensed Clinician)

$87,000 – $103,000 | 4-Day Work Week | 15 Paid Holidays | Leadership Role | $3,000 Sign-on Bonus

Our client has retained us to find an experienced Licensed Clinician to serve as an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program Manager for an outstanding nonprofit behavioral health organization dedicated to helping individuals with serious mental illness achieve stability, independence, and long-term recovery.

This leadership role blends clinical care and program management, allowing clinicians to lead a multidisciplinary team while still maintaining meaningful direct client engagement. About the Role:

The ACT Program Manager provides clinical leadership, operational oversight, and program fidelity management for a community-based Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program serving adults with serious mental illness

This role ensures the team delivers high-quality, recovery-oriented care using evidence-based behavioral health practices, while maintaining fidelity to the ACT model.

The Program Manager supervises a multidisciplinary team of 8–14 behavioral health professionals including therapists, case managers, nurses, peer specialists, and vocational specialists.

This role combines administrative leadership with direct clinical care, ensuring both operational effectiveness and strong therapeutic engagement with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision
  • Maintain 10+ hours weekly of direct face-to-face client services
  • Support integration of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and recovery-oriented practices

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Field
    (MSW, Counseling, Psychology, or related discipline)
  • Current Utah Professional Clinical License
    (LCSW or CMHC)
  • Minimum 2 years post-licensure experience
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria
  • Working knowledge of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model and fidelity standards
