About the role

As a Depot Coordinator you will manage & lead fulfilment of customer orders within the ACT & NSW distribution space to support the efficient and timely supply of safe blood and blood products within a service excellence culture.

Reporting to the Order Fulfilment Manager you will deliver outcomes through supervision of the depot staff, delivery of the work schedule and effective management of resources and workflow within the distribution area.

A day in the role will see you:

  • Supervision of stock management and undertaking supply planning to ensure blood & blood components are delivered in accordance with customer orders and the work schedule.
  • Drive the probability of perfect order KPI to continuously deliver an improved customer experience.
  • Coaching & mentoring team while job sharing to promote a positive culture. Strong openness and flexibility in stepping up to support the team, readily taking on tasks or covering staffing gaps as needed.
  • Development and management of rosters including leave management & training.
  • Accurate maintenance of records as per quality guidelines and regulatory compliance within the Manufacturing environment
  • Coordinate & action equipment management, asset repair & replacement
  • Identifying & undertaking continuous improvement activities individually as well as the team to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders constantly to troubleshoot or escalate any procedural deviations.

  • Experience in supervision of warehouse or distribution team along with operational knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes and principles
  • Ability to undertake the role with a sense of passion for service excellence and contribute towards improved customer service
  • Willing to contribute to ensuring smooth operations and assist in various capacities to meet business needs.
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as with team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • Experience in distribution and logistics, preferably in the health sector, pharmaceutical or regulated environment would be highly advantageous.

This a permanent full-time opportunity with a rotating roster to cover shift timings between 6:00 to 2:00 PM or 8:00 to 4:00 PM. Due to nature of role there would be an operational requirement to work on-call hours.
